"Cliff diving is ballet: there is grace, spinning, levitation and sometimes even sore feet." The 34-year-old's reply to the question why she chose cliff diving over ballet tells a lot about her attitude towards her sport and diving style.

Looking at Bader's history of participations, a promising development for 2018 is detectable: In 2014 and 2015 she started as a permanent diver, followed by a baby-break in 2016; then a very strong comeback in 2017 with only wildcard status, finishing three out of four stops on the podium and now she's back on the 21m platform as a permanent athlete again in 2018.

The passionate traveller and self-defined nomad is fluent in Spanish and English and a certified teacher of both these languages and physical education. For her, being part of the World Series means: "The smell of danger, the lack of gravity, and pushing the boundaries."
