Andy Jones (USA) - A tall, versatile athlete who has been competing since 2011. The 30-year-old former Cirque du Soleil performer ended 2015 in 6th place overall.

Artem Silchenko (RUS) - The 2013 World Series champion holds the record for the highest scoring dive ever - 183.00 points. The 32 year old's credo is "I will do everything to win".

Blake Aldridge (GBR) - A finalist at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, 2016 will be his sixth year competing in the World Series. The 33-year-old is known for taking on dives of the highest difficulty.

David Colturi (USA) - A former US national 10m champion who has finished fifth overall for four seasons in a row. The 26-year-old's three-word off-season mantra has been: "Healthy, strong, prepared".

Gary Hunt (GBR) - A 5-time World Series champion who is at the very top of his game. The 31-year-old 'brilliant Brit' is the only diver to have ever performed a running take-off.

Jonathan Paredes (MEX) - The rising star of the World Series, he finished in third place overall in 2015. The 26-year-old's motto is as philosophical as it is ambitious: "Be a better athlete, be a better person."

Michal Navratil (CZE) - 30-year-old "Supratil" – so called because of the Superman-style dives he performs following competitions - is one of cliff diving's most present athletes, having been competing since 2009.

Orlando Duque (COL) - A cliff diving legend who has 13 world titles and two Guinness world records to his name. At the age of 41 he finished in second place overall in 2015.

Sergio Guzman (MEX) - The most recent addition to the permanent diver's line-up became the first wildcard to ever finish on the podium in an event last season. Having just turned 25 he is the youngest of all 10 divers.

Steven Lobue (USA) - The 30-year-old 'turbo-spinner' - he's the only man who does five somersaults in less than three seconds - finished the 2015 season in style with a win in Bilbao.
