Divers are in action, but unsettled weather means possible tweaks to Texas schedule

The biggest ever Red Bull Cliff Diving season is all set to kick off in Texas this weekend, and at the moment everything is looking good to go, athough the unsettled weather here means that there is the slight possibility of some schedule changes.

The divers are fit, fresh and raring to leap into action, and yesterday they managed to get a good training session from the platforms under their belts. However, the safety of the athletes, as well as of the spectators and crew, is of paramount importance and schedule tweaks will be made if it is deemed necessary. Weather forecasting service, Morecast, has informed us that there is a possibility of isolated showers and maybe a thunderstorm on Friday afternoon. On Saturday the unsettled weather is due to begin move away from the area, but the possibility of outbreaks remains.

If you are planning to come down to Possum Kingdom Lake for the event, or simply hoping to tune into all the action at Red Bull TV or, please stay tuned to Facebook or Twitter for the very latest updates on the weather situation.
