Warming Up in the USA
Fresh after the long winter break, the 16 male and female permanent divers have arrived in Texas for the 2016 season kick-off.
The scene is set here at Possum Kingdom Lake, with the daunting cliffs of Hell's Gate providing a stunning backdrop.
And we have lift off! American Andy Jones is one of the first to take a practice leap from the men's 27.5m platform.
Jones also spared a few moments to help his compatriot, David Colturi, warm up a troublesome shoulder.
But Colturi felt a twinge upon impact and was clearly in some discomfort afterwards.
Down on the women's platform, Ginger Huber looked in good shape as she took her first dip in the Texas waters.
Meanwhile, Rachelle Simpson kept a close on eye her fellow American, Cesilie Carlton, as she spun away from the platform.
Artem Silchenko, the 2013 World Champion, looked composed and intensely focused ahead of his first training dive.
The man they have to catch, Gary Hunt, is going for three wins in a row at Hell's Gate.
The prize awaits, but who will get off to a flying start in the quest to lift the King Kahekili trophy in October?
