The wait is almost over. Eight months on from that thrilling 2017 finale in the waterfalls of Chile, the 10th anniversary season of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series is about to swing into action at Hell's Gate, and it won't just be the Texas temperatures that are rising. A blazing start is expected as the world's best male and female cliff divers begin the battle for the King Kahekili trophy all over again, with a tight fight in store right from the start.

Can Gary Hunt reclaim his crown after being toppled by Jonathan Paredes last season, or can one of the hungry pack of challengers make a run for glory? And in the women's, will Rhiannan Iffland continue her dominance and make it three titles in a row, or will one of the other ladies lay down a challenge to the Australian.

Watch the clip and get a taste of what's in store when the 2018 season kicks off in Texas on June 2.
