Gallery: Stepping into India's Sun City

Iffland: "I always love a challenge and that's one thing I love about this sport, the different locations and the different scenarios that we are put into to figure where is good to dive and what not."

Duque: "Rhiannan is a multiple World Series Champion, I mean she is just awesome. Even watching her here in this kind of tricky location she is doing awesome dives all the time."

#

Iffland: "It’s my first time on a camel. To come out here in the desert and escape the hustle and bustle of the city downtown near the step well feels amazing."

#

Duque: "I just recently finished my competitive career. When you are in competition you are really focused, but here you get to immerse yourself into everything: the culture, the food, the people.

#

Iffland: "I really didn't know what to expect coming here to India, but I really like it."

#

Duque: "The main challenge of diving in a location like this is a small area for landing. You have to make sure you are right in the centre of it."

#

Iffland: "I have not really experienced anything similar to India. It's got its own flavour and it's so busy but the people at the same time are so peaceful."

#

Duque: "You have to adapt to whatever conditions there are, here for example the small place and the tricky location. That makes it really exciting."

#

Iffland: "I love to do projects with Orlando because he might not realise it but I am actually learning a lot from him. And he is a great person to be around and even diving and travelling with him is so much fun."

#

Iffland: "It was challenging diving here. The visuals were quite different and there wasn't really much room for error at all."

#

Duque: "We took some tuk-tuks around the city; it’s just beautiful. All these narrow walkways where you can go through, there are beautiful houses on both sides."

#

Iffland: "The local market was organised chaos really. But it's super nice."
